We got a new rug for the great room. All we need now is some new lamps.

Jim got the pellet stove installed in the basement today. It's beautiful and is putting out a lot of great heat!

Ziva has found a new place to take naps.......

The first fire in our new fire pit.

This is the best overall view of the landscaping project. Our last major project on the outside of the house.

There are two terraces the will provide space to plant garden veggies next spring.

We have a small set of steps up from the basement and a larger on in the center of the terraces.

We have a small patio for grilling and so I can have a place to put my clothesline.

The steps from the garage to the ground level are complete and look great! About 1/3 of the stones have been laid.

The stone for the firepit will arrive tomorrow.

The landscapers started on our back yard project to create terraces coming up from the basement, steps out of the garage, and some patio areas. Also will have a fire pit.

We will have a small patio for the grill and for the clothes drying line in this location.

There will be a small patio area underneath the deck by the doors.

Can't wait to have steps coming out of the garage going to the barn. No more slip sliding down the hill in the winter. And we will have a hand rail to boot.

Jim is thinking - when can I drive this thing?

I cut some Statice from the garden to make this bouquet.

Jim and Steve finished the new screened in porch - it's wonderful!

The screened in porch is very comfortable.

If you look carefully just above and to the right of the roof, you can see the Stealth bomber about to fly over head.

What a sight! We watched the plane circle over head for almost an hour. It then flew over the Indy 500 track just before the start of the race.

These planes were circling over head for about 20 minutes prior to a fly over after the Indy 500 race.

Jim had to use the pressure washer to get the mower deck clean after spring grass cutting. What a mess!

Jim finished cutting the grass today. Our new grass around the house is doing well.

We have three tomato plants on the south side of the garage. About a dozen small tomatoes between the three plants. Hoping for ripe tomatoes by mid-June.

The flowers next to the garage are spectacular right now.

We had 6 inches of fresh snow on Saturday. Only took us an hour to clear it from the driveway. We are still chopping our way out of the ice storm from earlier in the week. Looking forward to spring.....

Jim's got us all set up to move wood from the wood pile into the garage. The electric tractor handles the job easily.
